Fastest in Canada
Firefighters from Conception Bay
South gave an outstanding performance at the 2006 Scott
Canadian Firefighter Combat Challenge National
Championships, which took place in Niagara Falls from Sept
14th –17th.
The team, comprised of
members of the Conception Bay South Fire Department,
placed 1st in the Volunteer
Category
in what is referred to as “The Toughest Two Minutes in
Sports”.
The competition consists of firefighters
performing the various demanding tasks common to
firefighting during emergency situations.
